I have experience creating and testing recipes as a head chef for restaurant menus as well as more in-depth food and recipe writing as a blogger for The Chopping Block. Most recently I have been concepting, developing and writing recipes for personal cookbook projects. Find a few samples below:

Cooking Instruction & Consulting

Aside from the instruction experience that comes with training restaurant cooks, I’ve worked for two years teaching home cooks a diverse array of culinary skills, and how to execute them to professional standards.

I can also provide consulting services to help professionals or home cooks reach their creative and technical goals whether that be dialing in a hydrocolloid blend, baking artisanal bread at home or anything in between.

I’m a professional chef with nearly ten years of experience in professional kitchens, five years of which was spent leading kitchens as a head chef. I draw inspiration from working with high quality products that speak to the particular flavors that thrive in a given area. I enjoy cooking seasonally and am well-versed in a number of cuisines, styles, and techniques. I love the cerebral, concept driven process that goes into puzzling out a high end fine-dining dish as much as I love channeling my experience and expertise into fine tuning a beloved classic to make it as delicious as possible.
